Artist Statement:

This piece is part of a collection of sculptures rooted in a passion for woodworking and geometry mixed with a fascination for horned animals. Traditionally, horns are a symbol of strength and dignity. Additionally, they symbolize mental and spiritual strength as well. Personally, geometry symbolizes knowledge and wisdom that we carry and build upon over centuries. It is a mark of clever problem solving and ceaseless innovation. A marriage of wit and fortitude is manifested in these geometric horn imitations. I make them with the optimism that we, as a people, will use our strength and knowledge as forces for love and equality, breaking the ugly patterns of those who came before us. These sculptures are meant to energize those who see it with a sense of confidence and inner clarity.
